Who would say no to a flashback to their childhood?
Well, I don’t know your answer but I certainly won’t say no!
Blogadda has provided me with this opportunity and I am more than glad to make the most of it.
All of you must have had some favorites when it comes to teaching a rhyme to a kid or maybe a childhood story, ain’t so?
I being an avid reader, have just too many, but the most
favorite ones that could make to this blog are ~
1. “If you are happy and you know it”
This poem still gets to me and it has got me
clapping, dancing and tapping my feet like
crazy. It has taught me the most simplest and the most important lesson of my life – to
express my happiness!
You all would agree that there are times when we are unable to express ourselves and end
up holding our emotions inside our heart. Its
not just about happiness or doing actions like clapping or dancing. Its about being able to
reflect what we feel.
And the plus point of this poem – its just so
easy to enact!! 😀
I don’t see what possible reason anybody
could have to not love this rhyme!
2. “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”
I still sing this poem when sometimes I stare
at the stars or when I am mad, but a modified version then, which goes like –
Twinkle twinkle little star..
I’m gonna hit you.. with my car!
Jokes apart, the sky has always fascinated me
and the stars are the inseparable and the
cutest reason to look at the sky!
We all love those tiny lights that brace the sky and make us wonder what does it feel like
standing their and looking down upon the
whole world. This poem holds a special place
in my heart and mind because it got me a prize (A story book! Yippee!!). This poem was my
only connection till I was introduced to
science…(To tell you the truth, its still my only
connection with stars! :D)
We all love little flashbacks as I mentioned
earlier so why don’t you take one and check
