Expressing Life

The Ride to remember! :)

A day or two back, I got a chance to travel in a taxi. Since I’ve never travelled in anything besides cars, I was feeling very awkward. The last time I got to board a taxi was maybe 7-8 years back.

While sitting in the taxi, I was trying to hide myself from the people passing by. I didn’t want to be seen in a taxi. I told this to my little sister and the reply I got, left me stunned.

She said, “Didi, why are you hiding yourself, people who know you, know you because of your nature, your behaviour with them, not because you always travel in cars. And if they know you because of your cars, just stop talking to them, because they aren’t worth befriending.”

I was taken aback with what I heard her say and told her that she was right with a sorry.
This isn’t about me, it is about the people you befriend. I know this is nothing new, but then we don’t understand all such things until we experience them.

🙂 🙂 🙂
