Product Review- Photojaanic Hardcover Photobook

I live in a joint family, a prevalent concept in Asian countries where several generations of a family live together. In pictures, we savour the moments that are long gone, but still here. Life has progressed; six of the seven kids in my family have grown out our teens, and the seventh one remains just a year away from adulthood. To mark this day, I decided to gift all of us, the family that I care so much for, a photobook. A book of memories, of memories that we’ve had together in all these years that we’ve spent together. 

So, when Photojaanic approached me for a collaboration, I was thrilled to proceed. I always wondered what use would all these photos that we take every day be; lo and behold, here was the perfect use I could device for it. Photobooks are photo albums, but they have photos printed on them, not detachable. So, they are the new photo albums, evolved from the conventional way to make sure you don’t lose those precious memories just because someone didn’t take good care of your album.

My experience of ordering this hardcover photobook from Photojaanic-

Photojaanic is a very user-friendly site, with easy navigation. Once I had made up my mind to order a photobook, there wasn’t much to do. I just logged into my account on Photojaanic and chose the photobook that I wanted to order. There are several sizes available for photobooks that too at very reasonable prices. I decided on the 10×8 size. Also, the books had an option of either an Imagewrap cover, i.e., printed cover for the book or a Dustjacket, i.e., a printed cover that comes off. I chose imagewrap.

So, choosing the photobook wasn’t a big deal, but preparing it was. Once you click on ‘Get Started’ above, you see the several themes that are available for you to choose as per your requirement. The themes of the photobook are based on events, holidays, and several other reasons to save your memories. The custom option is also available if you don’t want to choose a theme. I chose Family.

After choosing the theme, I then came across the page where I had to upload the picture and set the order of how I wanted them to appear in the photobook. Each photobook has 20 pages, which means, around 30 photos in each book. If you’re going to order it, it’s better to keep high-quality pictures ready beforehand.

After you set the pictures, you can preview the whole book as it would appear in print and make any changes that you want to. Once finalised, you pay for the order, and in 5-7 days, you get the printed copy of the book. The silver lining? You also get an ebook made out of your photobook that can be easily accessed whenever you like! 

Personal Review-

My rating of the product- 5 out of 5 stars.

The photobook arrived neatly packed in around 6-7 days of ordering. To tell you the truth, I was a bit sceptic about ordering it once I had ordered it. I wasn’t sure I’d like it as much as I liked the idea of a photobook. All of that changed when it arrived. This beautifully printed package of some of my most beautiful memories was undeniably one of the best things I had ever bought.

The quality of this photobook was on another level. I felt that it was priced unreasonably low. Each page feels like you’re touching the smoothest surface that ever existed. The quality of the print is fantastic. I think the prints in it set the bar so high; I’m not sure I’d like any other prints so easily now!

I showed it to my family, and they all loved it, every single person! Although some of them did murmur angrily about my choice of photos that showed their not so beautiful self. 

So, overall, I think this product deserves all the praise that has been showered to it because a lot of people have already inquired with me about buying this photobook. That sure says a lot about the product. This photobook has become a beautiful keepsake for our family, and I’m sure, we all want such keepsakes even though we think that we don’t.
