Vitamin E’s myriad benefits are widely known, and that is why, if you look closely at the ingredients of your skincare products, you’ll find many of them already have Vitamin E in them. The Vitamin E oil actively fights the free radicals on our skin that cause skin damage and helps neutralize them. Moreover, Vitamin E is also extremely useful in hair growth and strengthening. That’s why Vitamin E capsules are known as a storehouse of health benefits.

Benefits of Vitamin E-

Vitamin E oil, when applied topically from a Vitamin E capsule with or without your moisturizer or cream can help in-.

  • Nourishing and moisturizing the skin. It’s an excellent alternative for moisturizers in the winters because it is oil-soluble and hence, is incredibly hydrating. However, it is not recommended to apply vitamin e topically for people with oily or acne-prone skin because it may cause or worsen existing inflammation.

  • It helps in lightening scars and sketch marks. Since Vitamin E regenerates skin cells, it actively helps in reducing brown spots and scars and accelerates the generation of new skin cells. Apply the oil gently on the stretch marks regularly to see a visible lightening of the same.

  • It helps in treating sunburns and dark spots. Vitamin E neutralizes the effects of free radicals caused by ultraviolet radiations. It is instrumental in fighting against UV damage because of its antioxidant properties. It reduces hyperpigmentation, so if you have to stay in the sun for long hours, it is recommended to apply it before you go in the sun. Apply the oil from the Vitamin E Capsules on your sunburnt area directly. For dark circles, apply the oil mixed with your night cream for 2-3 days regularly to see results.

  • It is cleansing your skin. You can use Vitamin E oil as a cleanser. Apply 2-3 drops on a cotton pad and gently rub it on your face. Because Vitamin E is a heavy emollient, it helps in getting rid of all the dirt and impurities on your skin.

Usage-

It can be either applied topically by using the Vitamin E Capsules, or you can take the capsules as supplements.

You can use the oil by mixing it with your preferred face cream or directly as advised by your medical advisor. The oil is best recommended to be applied overnight. Since it is sticky, it may stain your sheets or pillow covers, so apply it at least an hour or half before bedtime.

While the topical application may help in skin improvement, it may not be as effective with all the other benefits of Vitamin E for bodily health. Moreover, before considering taking supplements, please consult your medical advisor. The effects of the oil may differ on an individual to individual basis. I take Vitamin E as a supplement after consulting my family doctor. I prefer using Vitamin E directly instead of using creams that have it, makes the process a lot faster!
