My Shopping Experience With Myntra- Review

Whenever I go shopping, my mother always has one complaint. I don’t buy enough ethnic wear. I always end up buying western clothing and my mum ends up furious. If you’ve been reading my blog for a long time, you must be aware of my obsession with online shopping. So, I hopped onto Myntra to buy ethnic wear, Anarkalis in particular, and here’s how it turned out:

I’ve shopped on Myntra several times, it’s a pretty good website for shopping renowned brands at reasonable prices. It is my go-to site for Apparel shopping. So, I opened the app:

I clicked on ‘Women’ and this page appeared:

There’s a whole category for ethnic wear, so I clicked on Indian and Fusion wear.
You get several options about the kind of Indian wear you’d like to go for. I chose Kurtas and Tunics.

Once there, I put the term ‘Anarkalis’ in the search bar and here’s what came on screen:

Aren’t these some pretty choices?
Now, with the options of ‘Sort’ and ‘Filter’, I can make unique searches according to my specifications.

I can sort on the basis of Price, popularity or the newest feature, Delivery time!

Now, who wouldn’t like a good discount? I can filter my searches on the basis of price, brands, colours and even specific searches as per the size, sleeve length, pattern and what not!

So, after finding the perfect match, I added it to my bag, usually termed as the ‘shopping cart’ in other online shopping sites. Then, I proceeded to browse a little more but ended up deciding to buy the one I put in the bag. So, I clicked on my bag:

Once inside your shopping bag, you get the option to either add coupons or vouchers if you have any (there are usually offers running all the time) and here’s how your total price detail will appear:

After clicking on ‘Place Order’, you’ll get a screen that confirms your delivery details, that is, your delivery address and your contact number (you can edit these details there if you are choosing a new address or it’ll show you the default address that you’ve previously used). You’ll find a large option saying continue. Once you click on continue, you’ll get the screen for selecting the payment option:

As shown above, you can select among various payment options as per your convenience and click on ‘Pay Now’. If you choose Cash on Delivery, you’ll get a ‘Confirm’ option instead of ‘Pay Now’. And that’s all there is to it. After placing the order you will get the order details on your email id and a text on your registered number. Now all you have to do is sit back and wait for your order to arrive!

I’ve bought several Kurtis on Myntra before, and one thing to be noted in particular is that you either have to order a size larger than your normal or a size smaller for them to be the right fit. You’d usually find this stated in the description of the product. So, it is better to know your exact size while online shopping so that you have one less thing to worry about.

Pros:

  1. Simple User Interface and Navigation
  2. Easy Exchanges and Returns
  3. Huge Variety
  4. Amazing Discounts
  5. Great Customer Service

Cons:

  1. Sizing troubles make the process tedious.

In conclusion, the whole process of shopping on Myntra is quite easy and convenient. All you have to do is be aware of your size, and to make sure to read the description of the product along with the reviews it has got.

So, that’s all about my experience with Myntra! Have you shopped with Myntra before? How was your shopping experience? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time,
Be kind to one another!
