Himalaya Wellness’ Foot Care Cream

Brand Claims:
Himalaya’s Foot Care Cream cares for your cracked heels and rough feet with natural ingredients. Enriched with the goodness of Honey, Turmeric, Fenugreek seeds and Sal Tree extract, this cream leaves your feet feeling soft in one week.

List of Ingredients: Here.

How to Use: Wash your feet with lukewarm water and pat dry. Apply the cream over your cracked or rough heels twice daily, once after bathing in the morning and once at night before retiring to sleep.

Personal experience: Unfortunately, due to constant negligence, I do have cracked heels, not severe, but due to the regular hustle I neglect my feet often, and hence the skin got a little hard. To smoothen it, I gave this foot cream a try.

Himalaya Wellness’ Footcare Cream Swatch Beige Colour, Thick cream.

When you apply the cream, it takes a considerable time to blend in since it has a considerably dense texture. After massaging a little, the cream blends in completely and leaves soft and supple feet, with a sweet, mild and creamy fragrance. I chose to keep my feet open for the rest of the day for three days, and the softness lasted for around 6-8 hours while the cream worked wonders during the night.

After three days, I used socks to pack my feet after the application of the cream and the cream lasted much longer. After five days, my feet felt considerably softer. Since I didn’t have a severe case of cracked heels, this doesn’t justify how well or poorly the cream works. As a result, I asked my mother to use it as well.

I asked my mother to use it for a while and here is what she decrees: The cream doesn’t blend easily with the cracks, it settles down and takes a while to get absorbed. After a careful application for five days, straight, I feel its safe to say that the cream does work, but the results would’ve been different had I not covered my feet after application. It softens the cracked area, healing the scaly skin but it will take more than a week to achieve healed soft feet.

Pros:

  • Non-greasy, non-sticky moisturizer
  • Contains highly effective herbal ingredients
  • Affordable and easily available
  • Travel-friendly packaging

Cons:

  • Doesn’t exactly live up to the brand’s claim of soft and supple feet in one week for severe cracks.
  • Contains Paraben, a chemical that causes an allergic reaction for people with sensitive skin.

Pricing and Packaging: The 50g pack of the tube retails for INR 110, and the 2og pack retails for INR 50, an easily affordable price. The cream comes in a white plastic tube with a screw cap, is quite travel-friendly. It has a sweet outer paper packaging, representing a foot, as you can see in the image previously provided.

Rating and Recommendation: I’d give it 4 stars out of 5 for the way it worked, therefore, I would recommend it to anyone who wants soft and supple feet.
